RN - Registered Nurse - Rehab - Straight Nights

Join Sanford Health's Rehab Unit as a Registered Nurse on our night shift team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to provide personalized care and make a meaningful impact on patients' lives during their rehabilitation journey. You will work 12-hour night shifts with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5, utilizing the nursing process to deliver individualized care across all phases of patient treatment and follow-up.

Clinical Setting

The Rehab Unit at Marsh Medical Center in Marshfield, Wisconsin is dedicated to providing comprehensive rehabilitation services. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of physicians and other healthcare professionals to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care
• Perform patient assessments, patient education, and triage
• Plan and coordinate patient care
• Implement nursing interventions appropriate to patient age and population
• Care for patients in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up
• Demonstrate competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise and knowledge
• Function within the scope and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules

Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts
• Full-time position with 36 hours per week
• Every third weekend off
• Every other holiday off
• Premium night shift pay

Required Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (AACN, ACEN, or NLN CNEA accredited)
• Current, unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing in Wisconsin or multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
• Obtain and maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

Compensation and Benefits

• Starting rate: $35.00 - $48.00 per hour
