This part-time evening position offers Registered Nurses the opportunity to provide individualized nursing care to seniors in a not-for-profit residential setting with over 100 years of history serving the community.

Clinical Setting

GSS NE Auburn is a senior housing and services facility located at 1322 U St, Auburn, NE 68305. The organization is committed to quality care and service in a Christian environment.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to residents
  • Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues including providers to plan, implement, and evaluate care
  • Provide care across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment
  • Coordinate care, conduct resident assessments, provide resident education, and implement nursing interventions
  • May serve as charge nurse and delegate appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel within their competence level
  • Provide adequate assistance and support to delegates to ensure safe and reliable administration of resident care
  • Function within the scopes and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules

Required Qualifications

  • Currently hold an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where nursing practice occurs, or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
  • Obtain and maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program, including Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
  • Bachelor's Degree in nursing

Schedule

  • Part-time position
  • Evening shifts
  • 8-hour shifts
  • 24 hours per week

Compensation

  • Salary range: $32.00 - $48.00 per hour
