GSS NE Auburn is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide individualized nursing care to seniors in a not-for-profit residential setting with over 100 years of history serving older adults. This PRN position offers flexible scheduling with day shifts.
Clinical Setting
You will work at GSS NE Auburn, a senior housing and services facility located at 1322 U St, Auburn, NE 68305, providing care within a Christian environment.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to residents
- Collaborate with residents, families, interdisciplinary colleagues, and providers to plan, implement, and evaluate care
- Provide care across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment
- Coordinate care, conduct resident assessments, provide resident education, and implement nursing interventions
- May serve as charge nurse and delegate appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel based on job descriptions, skills, resident care needs, and delegate competence levels
- Provide adequate assistance and support to delegates to ensure safe and reliable administration of resident care
- Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise and utilize appropriate age and population-specific standards
- Function within the scopes and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules of the state of practice and licensure
Required Qualifications
- Currently hold an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where nursing practice occurs, or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtain and maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program, including but not limited to Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing

Compensation
- Salary Range: $32.00 - $48.00 per hour
