RN – Registered Nurse – Placement Services

This position focuses on managing patient flow and inpatient capacity by coordinating transfers and patient placements. You will work closely with physicians and nursing staff to ensure efficient and appropriate care delivery while supervising personnel, assisting with onboarding, fostering team morale, and communicating operational updates.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient flow and coordinate transfers and placements
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulations
• Prioritize resource allocation based on bed availability
• Monitor occupancy trends
• Participate in policy development
• Act as a communication link among departments
• Support staff development and training
• Participate in emergency protocols
• Supervise personnel and assist with onboarding

Clinical Setting

Work is performed primarily in a clinical setting with an emphasis on quality patient care, safety, and collaboration.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Pennsylvania
• At least three years of experience in patient placement
• Nursing degree from a specialty training program
• Strong leadership skills
• Strong communication skills
• Resource management skills
• Planning skills

Schedule

Full-time position with shifts including days and evenings. Shift differentials are applicable.
