RN, Registered Nurse - Nursing Administration

This position is for a Registered Nurse in a Nursing Administration role within the OneCHRISTUS health system. The successful candidate will practice independently in their clinical setting, demonstrating competency across all relevant aspects of nursing care. This role involves providing both routine and complex patient care while managing long-range goals and plans, and developing the ability to manage clinical contingencies. The nurse will make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers to effectively manage clinical situations.

Responsibilities

• Meet expectations of applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders
• Provide nursing care consistent with the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, utilizing the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients
• Address increasingly complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families in accordance with your level of practice
• Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols; monitor for side effects and treatment effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided
• Assess patient and family learning needs and provide education; identify issues and resources

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in state of employment or compact
• BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing
• One year of experience in a related nursing specialty
