RN Registered Nurse

Life Care Centers of America, a privately owned healthcare leader with over 200 locations across the U.S., is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our skilled nursing facility team. As an RN, you will deliver quality nursing care to patients through direct clinical assessment, care planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality nursing care to patients through ongoing assessment and interpersonal contact
• Evaluate patient needs and revise care plans based on changes in patient condition
• Provide clinical supervision to CNAs and LPNs
• Implement and interpret departmental programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures
• Support patients in attaining or maintaining the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards
• Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
• Apply reasoning skills and good judgment in clinical decision-making

Required Qualifications

• Nursing diploma, associate's degree in nursing, or bachelor's degree in nursing
• Currently licensed and registered as an RN in applicable state
• Active Registered Nurse license in good standing, which must be maintained throughout employment
• CPR certification upon hire or obtained during orientation; must remain current during employment

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of skilled nursing experience
