Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our skilled nursing facility team. In this role, you will deliver quality nursing care to a diverse patient population including individuals recovering from surgery, illness, or injury, as well as those with orthopedic, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and post-acute care needs. You will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of nursing, therapy, and medical staff to help patients achieve functional progress and maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patient needs through ongoing assessment and revise care plans based on changes in patient condition
- Provide clinical supervision to CNAs and LPNs
- Implement and interpret departmental programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures
- Deliver direct patient care through interpersonal contact
- Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team
- Exhibit excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude toward patients
- Use reasoning skills and good judgment in clinical decision-making
Clinical Setting
Life Care Centers of America operates skilled nursing facilities providing long-term care for residents requiring ongoing skilled support, as well as short-term sub-acute rehabilitation services. Patient populations vary slightly by facility.
Required Qualifications
- Nursing diploma, associate's degree, or bachelor's degree in nursing
- Currently licensed and registered as an RN in your applicable state
- Active Registered Nurse license in good standing, maintained throughout employment
- CPR certification upon hire or obtained during orientation; must remain current during employment
Preferred Qualifications
- One year of skilled nursing experience

Shift Differential
- Evening shift: $2 per hour
- Night shift: $2 per hour
