RN - Registered Nurse - Critical Care Float - Straight Nights

Sanford Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Float position in the Central Patient Building in Sioux Falls, SD. This is a full-time night shift role offering the opportunity to work independently and collaboratively with a team of motivated professionals in a critical care setting.

Position Overview

As a Registered Nurse, you will utilize the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, outcomes and planning, implementation, and evaluation—to provide individualized nursing care to patients. This float position allows you to work across critical care units, providing ongoing collaboration and learning opportunities with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process
• Work independently and collaboratively with the critical care team
• Engage in evidence-based practice and continuous learning
• Maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications

Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts
• Full-time position
• 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (AACN, ACEN, or NLN CNEA)
• Current, unencumbered RN license with the South Dakota State Board of Nursing or multistate licensure through the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
• Department-specific competencies and certifications as required

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-2 years of RN experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary range: $32.00 - $48.00 per hour
