Jupiter Medical Center is seeking a Per Diem RN for the PICC Team. This role focuses on the insertion, maintenance, and management of peripherally inserted central catheters (PICCs). You will work in a hospital setting ranked #1 for Safety, Quality, and Patient Satisfaction in Palm Beach County and the greater Treasure Coast.
As a PICC RN, you will serve as an educator to peers, patients, and families while delivering evidence-based nursing care. You will apply nursing process and theories in assessing, planning, diagnosing, implementing, evaluating, and modifying patient care. This position requires autonomous practice within professional nursing standards, the ANA Code of Ethics, and the ANA Bill of Rights.
This position can be physically demanding, requiring stooping, sitting, standing, and walking for long periods. You will frequently assist with lifting patients and heavy equipment. You must be able to work in a stressful environment, work independently, make sound decisions, remain detail-oriented, alert, and self-motivated. You must be able to push and pull up to 40 pounds and carry and lift up to 50 pounds.
