RN -Operating Room/PACU

We are recruiting an RN to join our Outpatient Services team in a perioperative nursing role. You will provide nursing care across multiple settings including the operating room, pre-operative clinic, post-anesthesia care unit (PACU), Phase II recovery, endoscopy lab, and infusion services. This position requires strong clinical skills in pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative nursing care, with the ability to recognize and respond to post-anesthesia and post-operative complications.

Clinical Setting

You will float throughout the Outpatient Services area, which includes day surgery, the endoscopy lab, the post-anesthesia care unit, the pre-operative clinic, and areas requiring conscious sedation support for special procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care including pre-operative education and assessment
• Monitor and care for patients in the post-anesthesia care unit and Phase II recovery
• Recognize and respond to post-anesthesia and post-operative complications
• Support endoscopy and infusion procedures
• Float to various outpatient services areas as needed
• Participate in shared on-call rotation for PACU coverage

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in SSSU, PACU, pre-operative, or post-operative nursing
• Strong clinical skills in pre-operative, post-operative, PACU, Phase II, endoscopy, and infusion nursing

Schedule

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Day shift with variable scheduling
• Shared on-call rotation for PACU
• Start date: November 9, 2026
