RN - Operating Room (New Grad) Canonsburg

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a new graduate Registered Nurse for the Operating Room in Canonsburg. This position provides direct nursing care in the perioperative setting, supporting surgical patients through the nursing process and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide and coordinate the plan of patient care for the age-appropriate population
• Initiate, monitor, and revise the interdisciplinary plan of care based on assessment findings and physician orders
• Complete patient documentation comprehensively in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements to promote interdisciplinary communication
• Provide ongoing and appropriate teaching to patients and families to guide them across the continuum of care
• Support the development of students, new staff, and colleagues; may serve as a preceptor
• Perform other duties as assigned or required

Required Qualifications

• Current State of Pennsylvania RN licensure OR current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association
• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
• Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
