The opportunity
Job Description
This 12-week contract position offers an opportunity to provide intraoperative nursing care in a fast-paced operating room setting in California. You will circulate and support surgical procedures, including Da Vinci robotic surgery cases, while maintaining sterile field protocols and ensuring patient safety throughout the surgical experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide intraoperative nursing care in the OR setting
- Circulate and support surgical procedures, including Da Vinci robotic surgery
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Maintain sterile field and ensure patient safety
- Collaborate with the surgical team and delegate tasks appropriately
- Document care and support continuity of care
Schedule
- Day shift: 10-hour shifts, 11:00 AM – 9:30 PM
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday
- Friday call (alternating 1st and 2nd call)
- One weekend call every 5–6 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Active California RN license
- Da Vinci robotic surgery experience
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Acute care or OR experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Compensation
- $2,327 – $2,608 per week
