RN Operating Room Circulator

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to work as an Operating Room Circulator on the day shift. In this role, you will provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care, including pre-, intra-, and post-operative assessments to ensure patient safety throughout the surgical process. You will anticipate the needs of the surgical team, collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists, and maintain precise documentation in medical records.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive pre-, intra-, and post-operative assessments to uphold patient safety
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team to support seamless operational flow
• Provide age- and procedure-appropriate nursing care throughout the perioperative process
• Maintain precise and timely documentation in medical records
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists for superior patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Current North Carolina RN License or Compact License with North Carolina endorsement
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 90 days of hire
• Associate's Degree in Nursing
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Surgery and Operating Room Circulation

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
