RN Circulator - Registered Nurse - Main Operating Room - Weekends

Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City is seeking a full-time RN Circulator for the Main Operating Room on a weekend schedule. This position offers the opportunity to work in a highly dynamic surgical environment with a motivated team dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and maintaining the highest standards of safety.

As an RN Circulator, you will utilize the nursing process to provide comprehensive patient care, maintain professional accountability for assigned patients, evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers, and coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments. You will maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information while performing duties consistent with Mercy's mission, values, and Service Standards.

Schedule

• Full-time position: 36 hours per week
• 3 twelve-hour shifts per week
• Friday through Sunday

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or Bachelor of Science in Nursing)
• Current RN license in Oklahoma or compact licensure in the state where nursing duties are performed
• Must meet all state board of nursing requirements
• Basic Life Support certification or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of critical care or operating room experience

Physical Requirements

• Ability to push, pull, and lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
• Prolonged standing and walking each shift
• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
