The Village at Rockville is seeking a Registered Nurse Charge Nurse to lead nursing operations and oversee resident care in a geriatric or subacute setting. In this part-time leadership role, you will guide and support a nursing team, ensure exceptional care standards, mentor staff, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, physicians, and families to deliver resident-centered care.

Schedule

  • Part time
  • Every other weekend
  • Night shift

Compensation

  • $44.00 - $57.00 per hour (based on skills, experience, and professional background)

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily nursing operations
  • Support staff development and coaching
  • Ensure exceptional care for every resident
  • Administer medications and treatments
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, physicians, and families
  • Partner effectively with team members
  • Coach and counsel direct reports

Required Qualifications

  • In-state Registered Nurse license in good standing
  • Expertise in geriatric or subacute nursing
  • Proficiency in medication and treatment administration
  • In-depth knowledge of COMAR and CMS guidelines
  • Familiarity with Office of Health Care Quality standards
  • Proven track record of positive leadership
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Hands-on experience with electronic medical records (EMR)
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Ability to navigate and utilize EMR systems efficiently
