Registered Nurse

Sun River Health is seeking a Staff Registered Nurse to deliver direct nursing care to individual clients at one of our Federally Qualified Health Center locations across the Hudson Valley, New York City, and Long Island. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating nursing care regimens while maintaining quality care through ongoing assessment, planning, and implementation of nursing activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing care regimens for clients
• Plan, coordinate, and assess client care based on individual needs
• Identify client needs and provide direct nursing care according to established care plans
• Document client care with accurate and accessible records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop, implement, and evaluate client care
• Administer prescribed medications to clients and maintain accurate records in accordance with law and Sun River Health policies
• Utilize standing orders in accordance with Sun River Health policies and procedures
• Assist with medication refills per Sun River Health protocols
• Communicate with Pharmacy, Laboratories, and other vendors as needed
• Provide clinical education and counseling to patients for health promotion and disease prevention
• Function as a preceptor to students, new hire candidates, and other clinical team members when needed
• Maintain professional competence through participation in staff development and educational programs

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• New York State Registered Nurse License
• CPR/BLS Certification

Compensation

• $45.00/hr - $52.11/hr
• Sign-on bonus of $2,700 (conditions apply)
