Registered Nurse- Spearly

Juniper Village at the Spearly Center is a 130-bed skilled nursing facility specializing in behavioral and mental health care. We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our night shift team and contribute to creating a home-like environment for our residents, 80% of whom are fully independent.

Clinical Setting

This is a skilled nursing facility with a focus on behavioral and mental health services. The facility serves a population of older adults, many of whom are independent with activities of daily living.

Schedule

Full-time position, 6 pm to 6 am, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Ensure resident safety at all times by continually assessing residents to identify any changes in condition, mood, behavior, or level of function
• Implement appropriate interventions to maintain residents' highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial wellbeing
• Act as a liaison between residents, family members, and other team members to maintain effective communication and appropriate care
• Make written and oral reports to the leadership team and complete all assigned paperwork to meet current federal, state, local, and company regulatory compliance standards
• Assist in establishing rapport and maintaining teamwork throughout the Wellness Department
• Assist in the continuous and ongoing supervision, oversight, and delegation within the Wellness Department, including training, disciplining, counseling, motivating, and evaluating

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license
• Current CPR certification
• Knowledge of all applicable governmental regulations
• Knowledge of the physiology and psychology of the older adult

Compensation

Starting at $39.00 per hour, with increased wages for more experienced candidates.
