Registered Nurse - School Nurse

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse for school-based private duty nursing in Passaic County. This position offers one-on-one pediatric patient care in a school setting with flexible scheduling and short commute times near your home.

Clinical Setting

This is a private duty nursing role, distinct from traditional home health visits. You will provide hands-on care to one client per shift, building relationships and supporting their developmental milestones. Clients range from infants to geriatric patients with varying diagnoses and acuity levels.

Responsibilities

• Travel to one client home near you on a schedule you choose
• Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders
• Perform assessments and monitor clients' conditions
• Document observations, interventions, and evaluation using electronic charting (Statewise)

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program (school transcript or diploma required)
• Current nursing license in good standing in your state
• Minimum 5 months of RN experience

Schedule and Shifts

• Flexible scheduling with no minimums (full-time, part-time, or per diem available)
• Traditional shift types: 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts
• Weekly pay every Thursday

Compensation and Bonuses

• Pay: $35.00 to $40.00 per hour
• Sign-on bonus up to $5,000.00
• $1,200 nurse referral bonus
