Registered Nurse School Based

Interim Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide one-on-one nursing care for a pre-K student during school hours. This school-based position involves accompanying the student to and from school, monitoring vital signs, conducting assessments, documenting progress, and reporting changes to the RN Supervisor. You will assist in carrying out physician orders, administering medications, operating medical equipment, and maintaining a safe care environment.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM to 11:45 AM

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one nursing care for a pre-K student during school hours
• Accompany student to and from school
• Take patient vitals and conduct assessments
• Document progress and report changes to RN Supervisor
• Assist RN in carrying out physician orders and prescribed treatments
• Administer medication and operate medical equipment
• Maintain a safe care environment

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
• Active RN license in Ohio
• CPR certification
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
• Clinical proficiency and critical thinking skills
• Experience with G-tube, vents, and trachs
