Job Description

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking Spring/Summer 2027 nursing graduates for a Registered Nurse (RN) or Nurse Extern II position at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. This is an excellent opportunity to transition into a rewarding nursing career. You may begin as a Nurse Extern II during your final semester of nursing school and transition directly into your RN position once you obtain your license.

Clinical Setting

  • Facility: St. Nicholas Hospital, Sheboygan, Wisconsin
  • HSHS operates 13 hospitals and numerous community-based health centers and clinics throughout Illinois and Wisconsin

Schedule and Employment

  • Full-time and part-time night shift opportunities available
  • 36 scheduled weekly hours
  • Colleagues budgeted to work at least 32 hours per pay period are eligible for HSHS benefits

Compensation

  • Pay range: $36.50 - $55.50 per hour
  • Actual pay rate based on relevant experience, skills, training, certifications, and education
  • Sign-on bonus up to $10,000 in most areas

Required Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice
  • Wisconsin: RNs may practice with a valid multi-state RN license as outlined in the Nurse Licensure Compact rules
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Must not require sponsorship for an employment visa, either now or in the future

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Experience in healthcare
