National Park Medical Center, a 163-bed hospital in Hot Springs, Arkansas, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our wound care team on a PRN basis. In this role, you will provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients in a collaborative nursing environment focused on patient safety, comfort, and positive outcomes.
Clinical Setting
National Park Medical Center is part of Lifepoint Health, a diversified healthcare delivery network with acute care, rehabilitation, and behavioral health facilities across 29 states. You will work alongside a dedicated team of registered nurses in a supportive, patient-centered care environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform accurate patient assessments and identify patient needs
- Initiate appropriate nursing interventions based on assessment findings
- Provide age-appropriate and condition-appropriate patient care
- Administer treatments and ensure patient comfort and safety
- Complete timely and accurate documentation in the medical record relating to medical necessity
- Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
- Perform timely and accurate quality improvement assessments
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Current state RN license
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
Preferred Qualifications
- One year of nursing experience
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- ASLS certification
Additional Requirements
- ACLS and PALS certifications required within six months of hire
