Registered Nurse (RN)

VMP Healthcare and Community Living is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our skilled nursing facility in West Allis, Wisconsin. You will provide high-quality, resident-centered care in a long-term care setting, working collaboratively with physicians, nursing staff, residents, and families to promote health, safety, and well-being.

Clinical Setting

This is an on-site position at a skilled nursing facility offering a full continuum of care including independent living, assisted living, memory care, rehabilitation, and skilled nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident care plans
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
• Monitor residents' conditions and document changes accurately
• Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and other nursing staff
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and the healthcare team
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations
• Respond to resident emergencies and provide appropriate interventions

Schedule

This position is available as Part-Time or Full-Time with the following shift options:

• 1st shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• 2nd shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
• 3rd shift (NOC): 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM

Every other weekend and holiday rotation is required.

Required Qualifications

• Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• CPR/BLS certification
• Strong assessment, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Skilled nursing, long-term care, or geriatrics experience
