Registered Nurse (RN)

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurses for a travel/contract assignment at a busy, high-acuity Regional Medical Center in Arizona. This 54-bed facility is a Level III Trauma Center and Level II Stroke Center, serving more than 60,000 patients annually. You will provide comprehensive emergency care to patients of all ages alongside physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and support staff.

Clinical Setting

This regional trauma and stroke center operates a high-volume emergency department with nurse-to-patient ratios ranging from 1:1 for critical and trauma patients to 1:3–4 for general ED patients. The role requires flexibility and adaptability, including willingness to float to other units and hospitals as needed.

Schedule

• 36 or 48 hours per week (your choice)
• Every other weekend
• Holidays as required

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of emergency department experience (or 18 months if working under the highest level of license with at least 1 year in specialty)
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (minimum)
• Active RN license in Alabama or Compact RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
• NURSYS verification required

Required Certifications

• AHA ACLS
• AHA BLS (or Red Cross equivalent)
• AHA PALS
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• TNCC
• CPI
