Registered Nurse (RN) Substitute School Nurse

BAYADA is seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) for substitute school nursing assignments throughout Gloucester County. As a school-based nurse, you will cover various substitute and long-term school nurse requests and work with students of all ages. One-on-one school nursing opportunities and bus runs are also available.

Clinical Setting

You will provide school nursing services in school-based settings across Gloucester County and Cumberland County, supporting students of all ages in educational environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct health assessments
• Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies
• Communicate with other members of the client's multidisciplinary team
• Manage supplies
• Manage emergency situations

Required Qualifications

• Current New Jersey RN license in good standing
• Current CPR certification
• School Nurse certification or Substitute Nurse certification
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Pediatrics experience (industry-leading training is available through BAYADA if you do not have prior pediatrics experience)
