Registered Nurse (RN) Rehabilitation

Liberty Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care in our 36-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility. This full-time night shift position (7 PM – 7:30 AM) offers the opportunity to work with a highly engaged staff at healthy staffing levels while delivering compassionate care to patients in our rehabilitation setting.

Clinical Setting

Liberty Rehabilitation Hospital is a CIHQ-accredited, 36-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital serving the Liberty Township community.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice
• Perform plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments
• Document patient care provided
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family as appropriate
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs
• Evaluate learning needs of patients and families and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing
• Current Registered Nurse license as required by state regulations
• CPR/BCLS certification
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS certification
• CRRN (Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse) certification

• Full-time, night shift (7 PM – 7:30 AM)
