Registered Nurse (RN) PRN - Operating Room

Grafton City Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a PRN position in the Operating Room. In this role, you will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care in a surgical setting, working collaboratively with physicians and the surgical team to ensure optimal outcomes for each patient.

Responsibilities

As an Operating Room RN, you will perform the full scope of nursing practice including:

• Collect comprehensive assessment data pertinent to the patient's health and surgical situation
• Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses and clinical issues
• Identify expected outcomes individualized to the patient and surgical procedure
• Develop and implement a plan that prescribes strategies to attain expected outcomes
• Implement the identified plan of care
• Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes
• Collaborate effectively with physicians and the interdisciplinary surgical team
• Instruct patients and their families regarding care and procedures

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher
• Effective interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to exert up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 50 lbs. of force frequently and/or in excess of 20 lbs. of force constantly
