Join PAM Health Dallas's brand-new rehabilitation hospital opening this fall as a Registered Nurse (RN) on the night shift. This is an opportunity to help shape exceptional patient care from day one in a newly established facility.
Clinical Setting
You will work in a rehabilitation hospital providing care to patients admitted to the nursing unit. The facility is part of PAM Health's network of specialty healthcare services focused on post-acute care.
Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager, or Charge Nurse, you will:
- Utilize the nursing process while delivering, directing, and supervising patient care
- Plan, coordinate, and provide direct patient care to assigned patients
- Participate in interdisciplinary planning and discharge planning
- Provide patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization care
- Access and coordinate community resources as needed
- Perform Charge Nurse duties as assigned (ACLS certification required for this role)
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested
Schedule
- PRN (as-needed) nights position
- Flexible scheduling available
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if the state participates
- Current BLS certification (AHA approved)
- ACLS certification (AHA approved) required within 90 days of employment
- Current ACLS certification required if performing Charge Nurse duties
Preferred Qualifications
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience
