VIC the PICC (VTP) is a specialized vascular access consulting provider serving acute care hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and home healthcare agencies throughout the Western and Southern United States. As a Registered Nurse PICC Nurse, you will provide on-site and mobile vascular access support services, including device insertion, post-access support, troubleshooting, and clinical education.
This role offers a different pace from traditional hospital nursing. You will work collaboratively with facility clinical teams to resolve venous access issues and support physician-directed treatment objectives. Depending on referrals, you may work inside or outside hospital settings, giving you exposure to different treatment protocols and patient challenges across care settings.
VTP provides paid PICC certification training to qualifying RNs with strong, recent USGIV placement experience. No prior PICC experience is required to apply if you have consistent, recent USGIV placement history.
Full-Time: 36-48 hours per week across 3-4 shifts per week, including weekend and holiday rotation. Currently hiring for 12 PM-12 AM shifts. Specific days are assigned based on business needs.
Per Diem: Minimum of 32 hours per month across 4 shifts, with availability to pick up additional shifts as needed. Per Diem opportunities are available for experienced PICC Nurses only. Currently hiring for a range of schedules.
Consultants travel to customer facilities as assigned; scheduling requirements vary by job classification.
You will travel to customer facilities as assigned. A company vehicle is provided for work-related travel when available; if unavailable, personal vehicle use is reimbursed at the standard IRS mileage rate.
