Registered Nurse (RN), per diem, unscheduled 2nd shift

We are hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide direct care for elder Franciscan sisters in a convent home located in the Buffalo area (Pine Ridge and Doat Street, Cheektowaga, near Villa Maria College campus). This is a casual per diem position with unscheduled 2nd shift hours.

Clinical Setting

You will work in a residential convent home caring for a community of elder Franciscan sisters. The environment emphasizes quality resident care, teamwork across all departments, and creating a warm, caring living environment that supports the religious life of the sisters.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care for elder Franciscan sisters
• Manage multiple priorities and oversee Nurse Aides to ensure highest quality care and support
• Assist other nursing staff with resident care activities and related services
• Distribute medication and maintain narcotic records
• Maintain resident records and perform charting duties
• Engage in quality interpersonal experiences and meaningful interactions with sisters
• Collaborate with all departments to support sister satisfaction and a thriving living and working environment

Schedule

• Per diem, unscheduled 2nd shift (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM)

Required Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in New York
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of nursing experience
• Long-term care experience

Compensation

• Salary rate: $36.11 - $52.39 per hour based on relevant work experience, qualifications, and internal equity
