Registered Nurse (RN) Part-Time

Rosewood Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to provide nursing care to patients and residents requiring long-term and rehabilitative care. You will work in a rehabilitation and long-term care setting, assessing and planning individualized care while supervising other nursing personnel.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and evaluate nursing care for patients and residents requiring long-term and rehabilitative care
• Deliver direct nursing care in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, facility policies and procedures, and sound nursing judgment
• Implement and evaluate patient and resident plans of care
• Direct and supervise care provided by other nursing personnel
• Provide input in the formulation and evaluation of standards of care
• Maintain accurate and necessary documentation
• Maintain knowledge of equipment setup, maintenance, and use including monitors, infusion devices, and drain devices
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with patient and resident rights
• Provide patient, resident, family, and caregiver education as appropriate
• Conduct yourself in a professional manner in compliance with unit and facility policies
• Work rotating shifts, holidays, and weekends as scheduled

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of a basic education program in professional nursing
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state(s) of practice
• Minimum of one year of medical/surgical nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting or long-term care setting (acute/critical care experience is preferred)
• Reliable source of transportation
