Registered Nurse (RN) - Part Time

FirstLight Home Care is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide skilled, personalized healthcare to patients in their homes. In this part-time position, you will conduct patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and deliver skilled nursing interventions that enable patients to recover or manage chronic conditions in a comfortable home environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing physical assessments, monitor vital signs, and develop or update individualized plans of care
• Administer medications, perform wound care, and provide treatments as prescribed by a physician
• Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive electronic medical records (EMR) for each visit
• Educate patients and family members on disease management, safety, and self-care techniques
• Communicate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team regarding changes in patient condition
• Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Home Health Aides
• Adhere to all federal, state, and company policies, including HIPAA and OSHA infection control standards

Required Qualifications

• Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, and support patients with mobility issues
• Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently

Education

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (Bachelor's degree preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in home health

Schedule and Travel

• This position requires travel to patient homes
• Part-time or PRN options may be available
