Registered Nurse (RN) - Pain Block Nurse/Operating Room

Community Health Network's Surgery Center East is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a Pain Block Nurse in the Operating Room. In this role, you will be part of a professional care team responsible for providing anesthesia pain services. During slower periods, you will float to circulate and scrub in the operating room. You will collaborate with all members of the care team to provide exceptional care and compassion to patients and their families while adhering to AORN guidelines and standards for perioperative nursing.

Schedule

• Part-time position
• Four 8-hour shifts per week
• Day shift: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
• Location: Surgery Center East, 5445 E 16th St, Indianapolis, IN 46218

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of a National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, OR three years of related professional nursing experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as an RN in the operating room
• Pain block experience
• IV conscious sedation experience
