Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Celebrate Senior Living of Niles is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide compassionate care to residents in our senior living community. You will work the first shift from 6am to 2pm, taking responsibility for resident care and well-being while directing, training, and mentoring CNAs on your team.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' needs and assist in developing and following individual care plans
• Provide quality care through the utilization of nursing processes and guidelines
• Identify and communicate changes in residents' status to physicians, staff, and family members
• Administer medications, treatments, and other direct care as prescribed and indicated
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges of residents
• Communicate appropriate information to all staff to ensure smooth shift transitions
• Investigate and document incidents and accidents as required
• Report any suspected abuse to appropriate authority
• Document appropriately in Point Click Care
• Push or pull up to 30 pounds of force to move medication carts and transport residents in wheelchairs

Schedule

• First shift: 6am to 2pm

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN or LPN license for Illinois
• CPR certification
• Demonstrates leadership and compassion
