Allure of Pinecrest in Mount Morris, Illinois is seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide direct skilled nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting. This is a full-time or part-time position working 2nd and 3rd shifts. You will assess residents, identify changes in condition, administer medications and treatments, and supervise Certified Nursing Assistants while collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to promote resident dignity, comfort, and positive clinical outcomes.

Responsibilities
- Deliver skilled nursing care in accordance with Illinois Nurse Practice Act and facility policies
- Assess residents and identify changes in condition
- Notify physicians and appropriate team members of significant clinical changes
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Monitor residents for medication effectiveness and adverse reactions
- Complete thorough nursing assessments and documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Process and implement physician orders accurately
- Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Participate in MDS assessments and interdisciplinary care planning
- Collaborate with physicians, therapy, hospice, pharmacy, dietary, and other interdisciplinary team members
- Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
- Promote resident safety through fall prevention and infection control practices
- Monitor nutrition, hydration, pain management, skin integrity, and wound care
- Collect laboratory specimens as ordered
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) when needed
- Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations
- Provide resident-centered care while maintaining residents' dignity and independence
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited RN or LPN nursing program
- Current Illinois RN or LPN license in good standing
- Current CPR certification
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Preferred Qualifications
- Long-term care or skilled nursing experience
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift
- Lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds
- Assist with resident transfers and emergency evacuations
- Read, write, speak, and understand English
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced healthcare environment while maintaining professionalism
Compensation
- Competitive pay: $33.00 - $41.00 per hour (based on experience and licensure)
- $7,500 sign-on bonus for full-time RNs
- $6,000 sign-on bonus for full-time LPNs
