Registered Nurse (RN) Operating Room SurgiCenter

Clinical Setting

ChristianaCare SurgiCenter is located in Newark, Delaware, and operates as part of a three-time Magnet-recognized health system and the only Level I trauma center between Philadelphia and Baltimore. The facility is consistently ranked among America's Best Hospitals by U.S. News & World Report.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate in surgical cases across multiple specialties
• Deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Support surgical teams in cysto, general surgery, gynecology, orthopedics, podiatry, neurosurgery, robotics, urology, and plastics procedures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary surgical teams to ensure clinical excellence

Schedule

• Full-time position: 80 hours bi-weekly
• Monday through Friday
• Shift hours vary between 0700 and 1530
• PRN coverage available
• No weekends, no holidays, no on-call duties

Required Qualifications

• Current RN licensure
• Minimum 2 years of major operating room experience
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required, or commitment to obtaining within three years of hire date

Preferred Qualifications

• CNOR (Certified Nurse Operating Room) certification

• Hourly pay range: $42.11 to $67.37 (based on individual factors including skills, relevant experience, and qualifications)
