The opportunity

Job Description

Texas Health HEB is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a 252-bed acute-care hospital specializing in perioperative services, women's services, heart and vascular care, and multiple other clinical specialties. You will be part of a team-based environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care in a supportive workplace culture.

Clinical Setting

Texas Health HEB is an ANCC Magnet Designated, Joint Commission-certified hospital serving the DFW mid-cities area since 1973. The facility specializes in women's services, perioperative services, heart and vascular care, acute care/med-surg, intermediate care/step-down, oncology, and emergency medicine. Additional specialties include nuclear medicine, interventional radiology, respiratory therapy, and neuroscience care.

Schedule

  • Full-time position (36 hours per week)
  • Evening shift: 12:00 PM - 9:30 PM
  • 4 to 9 hour shifts
  • Call is required

Required Qualifications

  • Nursing Diploma, Associate's Degree in Nursing, or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • One year of experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program
  • Active RN license (Registered Nurse) upon hire
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
