Registered Nurse RN Operating Room Circulator

Banner Fort Collins Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse – OR Circulator to join the Surgical Services team. In this role, you will provide safe, high-quality patient care throughout the perioperative experience, collaborating with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the broader surgical team to ensure optimal outcomes for every patient.

Clinical Setting

Banner Fort Collins Medical Center is a full-service, acute-care hospital offering emergency care, orthopedics, general surgery, women's health, gastroenterology, urology, pulmonology, intensive care, and other medical and surgical services. You will work in the operating room and may float to the Loveland Campus OR as operationally needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Serve as the patient advocate throughout the perioperative process
• Coordinate and manage the flow of the operating room to ensure efficiency and safety
• Maintain accurate documentation of surgical procedures and patient care activities
• Ensure proper setup, availability, and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment
• Communicate effectively with the surgical team, patients, and families
• Adhere to all infection control, safety, and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the State of Colorado or compact state eligibility
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required or must obtain within a defined timeframe
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced surgical environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Operating room experience
• CNOR (Certified Nurse Operating Room) certification
• Experience with a variety of surgical specialties

Compensation

• Estimated pay range: $36.67 - $61.11 per hour
• Actual pay determined at offer will be based on years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location, along with a review of current employees in similar roles to ensure pay equity is achieved and maintained
