Registered Nurse RN NICU Full Time Nights 20K Sign-On Bonus Littleton

AdventHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in Littleton, Colorado. This is a full-time night shift position offering a 20K sign-on bonus to new hires and relocation assistance for eligible candidates.

Clinical Setting

You will work in the NICU, providing specialized care to critically ill and premature newborns. This role requires collaboration with physicians, nursing staff, and ancillary departments to deliver comprehensive, coordinated patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance
• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing
• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of NICU experience
• Organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
• Ability to work as a team player within a unit
• Effective verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills
• EKG knowledge (based on patient requirements)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association

Schedule and Shift

• Full-time position
• Night shift

Compensation and Bonuses

• Pay range: $34.26 - $59.24 per hour
• 20K sign-on bonus for new hires
• Relocation allowance for eligible candidates
• Eligible clinicians may earn salary increases up to 20% through the Clinical Ladder Program based on experience, professional development, and achievement of advancement criteria (voluntary participation)
