Regency Hospital - Macon is a critical illness recovery hospital seeking Registered Nurses to care for chronic, critically ill patients who require extended healing and recovery following ICU care. This full-time position offers 12-hour shifts with a competitive hourly rate and substantial sign-on bonuses.
Clinical Setting
Regency Hospital - Macon specializes in post-ICU inpatient services for patients during vulnerable stages of recovery. As an RN, you will play a central role in providing compassionate, evidence-based care to this patient population.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with physicians and your preceptor to implement assessment plans, evaluation, and follow-up of patient care
- Conduct ongoing systematic assessment of patients' and families' physical, emotional, social, educational, and functional needs
- Interpret assessment data to develop comprehensive nursing care plans that include problem identification, nursing diagnoses, nursing orders, interventions, goals, and discharge planning
- Participate as a productive member of the interdisciplinary team in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of rehabilitation goals
- Ensure medical records are complete, factual, accurate, and timely
New Graduate Support
This position is designed for new graduates, with an extensive 10- to 13-week structured orientation program and a dedicated preceptor to support your transition into practice.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program
- Valid State RN License (must be obtained by start date; applicants may apply before licensure)
- BLS certification required at hire
- Flexibility to complete orientation program requirements
Schedule and Compensation
- Full-time employment
- 12-hour shifts
- $40.00 per hour
- Sign-on bonus: $10,000 for day shifts, $15,000 for night shifts
