Join Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist as a Registered Nurse in our 25-bed Med Surg and Trauma Surgery unit in Winston Salem, NC. This high-acuity setting provides evidence-based nursing care for patients who have experienced traumatic injuries, as well as those requiring emergency general (abdominal) surgery and orthopedic procedures. You will work as part of a supportive team dedicated to delivering exceptional care to patients and the community.
Responsibilities
- Provide and coordinate patient-centered care using the nursing process, ensuring safe, effective, and compassionate treatment aligned with clinical standards
- Apply evidence-based practice and clinical judgment to enhance patient outcomes, safety, and overall experience across the care continuum
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and advocate for patient needs
Required Qualifications
- Less than one year of RN experience (new graduate eligible)
- Graduation from an accredited or approved nursing program
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
Schedule and Employment
- Full-time position
- 36 hours per week
- Days and nights rotation
- Benefits eligible
Compensation and Bonuses
- Pay range: $38.20 - $57.30 per hour
- Base compensation determined by qualifications, skills, relevant experience, and training
- Premium pay available for shift differentials and on-call duties
- Sign-on bonus available for applicants who have not received a sign-on bonus from the organization for another role within the past 24 months
