Registered Nurse (RN) - New Graduate

Select Specialty Hospital - Omaha is a critical illness recovery hospital providing inpatient post-ICU services to chronic, critically ill patients requiring extended healing and recovery. As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will play a central role in providing compassionate, excellent care to patients during vulnerable moments of their recovery.

Clinical Setting

This position serves patients in a specialty hospital environment focused on post-ICU recovery and rehabilitation. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to support patients transitioning from acute critical illness to recovery.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians and your preceptor to implement assessment plans, evaluation, and follow-up of patient care plans
• Conduct ongoing systematic assessment of patients' and families' physical, emotional, social, educational, and functional needs
• Interpret assessment data to develop nursing care plans that include problem identification, nursing diagnoses, nursing orders, interventions, short and long-term goals, and discharge planning
• Participate as a productive member of the interdisciplinary team in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of rehabilitation goals
• Ensure medical records are complete, factual, accurate, and timely

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program
• Valid State RN License required at start date
• BLS certification required at hire
• Flexibility to complete orientation program requirements

Schedule and Compensation

• Full-time position
• 12-hour shifts
• Days and nights available
• Hourly rate: $38.26
• Sign-on bonus: Up to $10,000 for day shift or $15,000 for night shift
