Registered Nurse (RN) - New Graduate

Select Specialty Hospital - Nashville West is a critical illness recovery hospital providing inpatient post-ICU services to chronic, critically ill patients who require extended healing and recovery. As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will play a central role in providing compassionate, excellent treatment during some of the most vulnerable moments of patients' lives.

Clinical Setting

This position is based at Select Specialty Hospital - Nashville West in Nashville, Tennessee, serving patients in critical illness recovery and post-ICU care.

Responsibilities

• In collaboration with the physician and your preceptor, assure implementation of the assessment plan, evaluation, and follow-up of the plan of care for the patient population
• Initiate ongoing systematic assessment of the physical, emotional, social, educational, and functional needs of patients and families
• Interpret assessment data and information to develop a nursing care plan containing problem identification, nursing diagnosis, nursing orders, approaches, interventions, short and long-term goals, and discharge planning
• Participate as a productive member of the interdisciplinary team in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of rehabilitation goals
• Assure that documents in the medical record are complete, factual, accurate, and timely

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program for registered nursing
• Valid State RN License required at start date
• BLS certification required at hire
• Flexibility of scheduling to complete the requirements of the program

Schedule and Compensation

• Full-time position
• Night shift
• Starting at $40.00 per hour plus shift differentials
• $12,000 sign-on bonus
