Select Specialty Hospital is a critical illness recovery hospital seeking Registered Nurses to care for chronic, critically ill patients who require extended healing and recovery following ICU care. As an RN, you will play a central role in providing compassionate, evidence-based treatment during vulnerable moments in patients' recovery journeys.
Clinical Setting
This is a specialty hospital focused on post-ICU recovery and rehabilitation for patients with complex medical needs requiring extended inpatient care.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with physicians and preceptors to implement assessment plans, evaluation, and follow-up of patient care plans
- Conduct ongoing systematic assessment of patients' and families' physical, emotional, social, educational, and functional needs
- Interpret assessment data to develop comprehensive nursing care plans that include problem identification, nursing diagnoses, nursing orders, interventions, and short- and long-term goals
- Participate as a productive member of the interdisciplinary team in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of rehabilitation goals
- Ensure medical records are complete, factual, accurate, and timely
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program
- Valid state RN license required at start date
- BLS certification required at hire
- Flexibility to complete orientation program requirements
Schedule
- Full-time day shift position
- Located in Belhaven, MS
