Registered Nurse (RN) - New Graduate

Select Specialty Hospital - Augusta is a critical illness recovery hospital providing inpatient post-ICU services to chronic, critically ill patients who require extended healing and recovery. As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will play a central role in providing compassionate, excellent treatment to patients during vulnerable moments of their recovery.

Clinical Setting

This position is based at Select Specialty Hospital - Augusta, a specialized facility focused on post-ICU recovery and chronic critical illness management.

Responsibilities

• In collaboration with the physician and your preceptor, assure implementation of the assessment plan, evaluation, and follow-up of the plan of care for the patient population
• Initiate ongoing systematic assessment of the physical, emotional, social, educational, and functional needs of patients and families
• Interpret assessment data and information to develop a nursing care plan containing problem identification, nursing diagnosis, nursing orders, approaches, interventions, short and long-term goals, and discharge planning
• Participate as a productive member of the interdisciplinary team in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of rehabilitation goals
• Assure that documents in the medical record are complete, factual, accurate, and timely

Schedule and Shifts

• Full-time position
• Days: 7:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
• Nights: 7:00 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.
• Must have flexibility of scheduling to complete the requirements of the program

Compensation and Bonuses

• $38.64 per hour
• $5,000 sign-on bonus for full-time days
• $15,000 sign-on bonus for full-time nights

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited program for registered nursing
• Valid State RN License required
• BLS certification required at hire
• Applicants may apply before being licensed but must have license upon start date
