Registered Nurse (RN), New Graduate, Ortho, Nights

This Clinical Nurse I position is designed for new graduate registered nurses or nurses with less than 12 months of clinical experience. You will work on the Orthopedic unit during night shifts, providing direct patient care while completing the organization's Nurse Residency Program and departmental orientation. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to assess and manage patients' diverse clinical needs, demonstrating the confidence and competence to safely perform and coordinate interventions needed to provide equitable, comprehensive patient-centered care.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in Maryland or eligibility to practice through Compact state agreements outlined by the Maryland Board of Nursing
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program with an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher, or eligibility to sit for NCLEX
• Must pass NCLEX within 90 days of hire
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at hire (Red Cross BLS accepted for new hires only)
• Specialty life support certification required based on clinical area assignment, to be obtained within 6 months of hire or by completion of unit orientation, whichever is longer
