Registered Nurse (RN) - New Graduate - Medical/Surgical (7 North)

Join 7 North, a 36-bed Medical-Surgical Unit at High Point Medical Center, as a Registered Nurse supporting adult patients with a variety of medical conditions including general medicine, respiratory, renal, cardiac, and oncology. Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures
• Apply evidence-based practice and clinical decision-making to create the safest patient environment
• Use compassionate communication and skilled nursing interventions to deliver the best patient experience
• Lead efforts to ensure optimal patient outcomes across the continuum of care

Required Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program
• Active Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which you practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Less than 1 year of RN experience (new graduate position)

Schedule

• Full-time position, 36 hours per week
• 3 twelve-hour shifts weekly
• Days and nights available
• Every 3rd weekend rotation

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay range: $38.20 - $57.30 per hour
• Base compensation determined by qualifications, skills, relevant experience, and training
