Registered Nurse (RN) - New Graduate - Medical Telemetry (7 South)

Join 7 South, a 36-bed Medical-Surgical Unit at High Point Medical Center, as a Registered Nurse in this new graduate position. You will provide comprehensive patient care to adult patients with a variety of medical conditions, including general medicine, respiratory, renal, cardiac, and oncology. Clinical Setting

7 South is part of High Point Medical Center, a 351-bed hospital serving the High Point community and surrounding areas. The hospital is part of Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist and offers a full range of services including emergency services, cardiovascular services, vascular surgery, general surgery with robotics, bariatric surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedic and spine surgery, women's services, behavioral health, and inpatient rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process
• Deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures
• Apply evidence-based practice and clinical decision-making in patient care
• Use skilled communication to lead efforts in creating the safest patient environment
• Contribute to the best patient experience across the continuum of care

Required Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which you practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Less than 1 year of RN experience
