Registered Nurse (RN) | New Graduate | December 2026

Iredell Health System is hiring Registered Nurses for direct placement into permanent clinical roles, specifically targeting December 2026 new graduate nurses. This is a direct-hire position, not a general residency program. You will apply, interview, and be hired directly into your selected clinical unit, where you will receive tailored, comprehensive, unit-specific training and clinical mentorship to support your transition from student to professional nurse.

Clinical Settings

You will interview for and be hired directly into one of the following specialty units at the main hospital campus:

• 1 North (Renal/Oncology)
• 2 North (Cardiac Telemetry/Telemetry)
• 3 North (Peds/Medical Telemetry/Med-Surg)
• 5 North (Post-op Surgical/Orthopedics)
• Emergency Department (ED/ER)
• Critical Care (CCU)
• Operating Room (OR)
• Skilled Nursing

Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse, you will:

• Prescribe nursing care and delegate nursing activities
• Coordinate the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
• Provide optimal quality care consistent with the hospital's mission, nursing philosophy, objectives, and standards
• Complete hospital and unit-specific orientation including age and population-specific skills for your area of practice

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse licensure to practice in North Carolina prior to start date
• BLS certification
• Successful completion of hospital and unit-specific orientation
• Ability to perform physical duties including pulling, bending, stooping, reaching, and sitting for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
