Registered Nurse (RN) - Mother/Baby

MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Mother/Baby unit. This is a hospital-based nursing position where you will provide specialized care to postpartum mothers and newborns using a multidisciplinary approach. You will be part of a 226-bed, not-for-profit hospital that has served the Yakima Valley since 1950, caring for a diverse patient population in a collaborative, supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Organize and prioritize patient care by delivering and evaluating nursing interventions on an ongoing basis
• Utilize nursing education and experience to deliver care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures, and protocols
• Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience, and cost reduction
• Foster a learning environment for patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care that promotes patient autonomy, dignity, and health across diverse ethnic and social backgrounds

Schedule

• FTE: 0.9
• Shift: Night
• 3 twelve-hour shifts per week

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS)
• Current BLS Certification
• ACLS, NALS, PALS, TNCC, or NRP certification as required by facility or department

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)
• Certification in specialty area
• One year of experience in acute care setting
