Registered Nurse (RN) Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) Galesburg IL

Allure of Lake Storey is seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide direct nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing facility. You will deliver post-hospital rehabilitation and long-term skilled nursing care while supervising Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to ensure high-quality, resident-centered care in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care according to physician orders and individualized care plans
• Supervise and support CNAs during assigned shifts
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor resident conditions and promptly report changes
• Complete and maintain accurate nursing documentation
• Assist with resident admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Ensure resident privacy, dignity, and HIPAA compliance
• Perform skilled nursing procedures including wound care, catheter care, tube feedings, and IV site care as needed (RN scope for IVs)
• Promote a calm, respectful, and safe care environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered Illinois RN or LPN license
• CPR Certification
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Long-term care experience

• Ability to move throughout the workday
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry at least 25 pounds
• Ability to manage the mental and emotional demands of the role
• May assist with resident evacuation during emergency situations
